Hey :)
I am looking for someone who wants to be my flatmate! I have small 2 bedroom apartment on the border between Søborg / Herlev. It is technically not in Copenhagen, but 25mins on bike from the city centre. There is also bus and S-train the the centre of Copenhagen close to the flat (Husum St). The area here is really quite nice, with a lot of green bike paths and nice walks around. Apart from the two rooms, there is a kitchen, small bathroom and a garden (with cherries and wild strawberries in summer).
Here comes the disclaimers:
- I skip / dumpster dive food. Of course, I always clean it well and put it away, but just wanted to mention it in case you don't approve ;) - on the bright side this means you will often have a huge amount of one particular, but probably delicious snack....
- Most of my friends live in other countries, so when they come visit (unfortunately not that often) they are staying in my room for some days / a couple of weeks - but I promise they are all very nice. I'm also only happy if you have people staying, I like to have life in the flat :)
- The building isn't brand new, but fairly recently rennovated, so everything works fine. It's not fancy, but cozy and functional.
- The toilet is rather small (Copenhagen style) and the shower is in the basement. To compensate, the shower downstairs is huge.
The room I'm renting out is partly furnished with a bed and some shelves and a small wardrobe.
About me: I am quite used to living with people in many different constellations. I enjoy having flatmates that become friends, and would be happy to share a meal or a cup of hot chocolate sometimes when it fits into both of our lives. I'm sort of in between when it comes to cleanliness, but flexible in both directions, and in general quite flexible when it comes to living together :) I'm working as a midwife, so often out and often sleeping at odd hours. I'm vegetarian myself, but have no preferences about others' eating habits.
Quite left winged, and we'll probably get along best if you are not on the opposite end of the spectrum :)
The rent is 3200 dkk /month, including water and electricity but excluding internet. Washing machine in the basement also not included (10 kr per wash).
Would like to find someone from around 1st of March.
I will be gone from mid March and for some months, and probably not home much between then and late summer, so you'll be having the place to yourself quite a lot :)
If you have any questions or would like to see the place, let me know (you are welcome to come in person if you’re in cph, otherwise you can see it over skype or something). I'd be happy if you leave a phone number or email in your message, as my experience is that this makes communication faster.
