We are four happy, down-to-earth, tranquil, fun-loving people looking for a long-term roomie for our shared four-bedroom apartment in Teglholmen, Copenhagen; move-in date 1st of July 2023.
The room for rent comes with the closet and could have some of the other furniture upon discussing it with the current tenant - namely a clothing rack, an individual bed and perhaps a heater. The room is 6.8 sqm, and the entire apartment is 130 sqm.
The rental period is unlimited, but we expect a minimum of one month’s notice in case of cancelation. CPR available.
The price for the room is 4769 kr. a month, and deposit of 3 month's rent and 1 pre-paid rent. Utilities and internet are included in the rent for the room.
Apart from the rooms there is a large, open common area with a kitchen (including... dishwasher), living/dining room and two balconies. We also share a fairly large bathroom with a washer and dryer.
The area is generally new and modern, close to water and the park of Amager Fælled just across the canal. The transportation options are good with a bus stop for bus 7A, which goes to the Central Station, just across the street, and the ferry bus going between Teglholmen and Refshaleøen, that stops at Islands Brygge and Nyhavn. When it comes to grocery shopping Netto is on the ground floor of the building right next to ours, Spar across the street, and Irma at Sluseholmen approx. 400 m away.
As mentioned above, we are four people living in the apartment.
26 year-old Anna, who is studying a master’s degree in Global Studies and Cultural Encounters at RUC; 24 year-old Josefine, who is studying a bachelor’s degree in History at KU; Jorge, 27 year-old, who works as a Programmer for Motorola; and Sara, 26 year-old, another Dane who is finishing her studies in marketing at Århus University. Since both Anna and Jorge are from Spain and Josefine and Sara are native Danes the spoken language of the apartment is English, but with good possibilities for learning a lot about both Spanish and Danish language, culture, and cuisine, if you are interested.
Anna and Jorge are a couple but you can barely tell because we are all friends and spend time with each other inside and outside the apartment. Chatting after a long day, playing board games (or PS4 if that is more tempting), making drinks and food, or watching a movie, are amongst the activities we all do together. We also respect a closed door and the need for privacy, of course, so how much you want to participate in the “hygge” is up to you. Nevertheless, we are all very homey and tranquil.
