Hi there,
I'm Joakim and I'm renting out my room as I'm moving to Australia for work for at least one year. The room and apartment are fully furnished, but if you want to bring some of your own stuff instead, we can probably find a solution :)
I will of course move all my stuff, like cloths and guitars, so you can have yours! The depot looks a bit crowded, but most of that stuff is mine, so that space will be freed as well.
Since I'm moving, I will be telling you a bit about my two awesome roommates!
Matilda is 25 years old from Sweden, studying veterinary medicine. She just finished her bachelor's and currently working a summer job in Sweden before starting her master's.
Sebastian is 23 years old from Jylland, currently doing his bachelor in architecture at KADK. He also works at ...an event company, meaning he often brings home delicious wine and food ;)
Both are very active - Matilda is a former gymnast, runs and plays volley, and Sebastian runs and plays soccer. However, all three of us love doing new sports!
The apartment is 85 sqm on the 4th floor and your room is 11 sqm with a nice view and access to the large balcony.
The apartment itself is brand new, containing a parking basement for bicycles and cars, induction heating in a nice large kitchen space with dishwasher, and a large cozy balcony. We bought a new washing machine which you can obviously use as well. The bathroom is quite large and one of our favourite rooms. We also have a huge rooftop terrace shared by the building, but rarely used. The building complex is a nice mixture of young students and families with children, where everyone is respectful and therefore we never have any problems with noise etc. This is not to say you can't have parties, of course you can :)
The apartment is a couple of minutes from the beach, and we have a Kvickly and Coop 365 right next to us, as well as quite a few fitness centers and a wine bar (that Matilda works at).
Because of the awesome placement and the fact that the apartment is new, the rent is 4600 dkk with all of us sharing expenses for electricity, heat and water. This means that you will basically pay exactly what I'd be paying, no more no less. The deposit equals to that of three months rent.
The move in date can be flexible if needed, but preferably you move in during mid August or 1st of September.
We don't expect anything specific from our new roommate, except being fair, open minded and joining us in creating a nice homey atmosphere :) We believe each of us should feel at home, so if you have any preferences, changes or something on your mind, you can always air it.
If you wanna know anything else - about the apartment or us, feel free to ask.
The room will be available for a minimum of one year, but it's likely that the contract will be extended.
