My girlfriend and I are taking over a new apartment this summer and we are looking for one last tenant. We are looking to create a friendly, mature and nerdy common space in which we can have movie nights and the occasional board game, but also give time to privacy and respect for a closed door, and the need to stay focused sometimes. Room(s) The new apartment will be about 94m2 and we will have a shared common room, balcony, toilet, kitchen and hallway. We have washing machines for clothes and dishes. The area also has great green places nearby for running and grilling during the summer. The room is about 19 m2 with big beautiful windows that get a lot of light. It is located in the north of Amagerbro very close to the central station, Amagerbro/Christianshavn metro, KUA and CSS. Rent is 6000 DKK a month, everything included. With two months deposit as well as two months prepaid rent. We are thinking the common room will have a lot of books, a sofa, a TV for movies and old console games and a dinner table. With the possibility of being a short term guest room if any of us have visitors from afar. About the people Marielle is an avid drawer and plant enthusiast who spends her time during the day programming and reading books on the train. Hide your chocolate from her at all costs. Teodor is a news and politics nerd who loves following the news, reading and learning about everything. Also enjoys hiking. Works with education policy, can (and will) make graphs to show you how A is only correlated to B and somehow make it fascinating (don’t try this at home kids)! Toke is really into video game design, storytelling, music and dungeons & dragons. He works in a bar and have that ‘you can talk to me, I’m a bartender’ thing that only people being paid to get you drunk have. We also have seen him convince a IPA hater to drink IPA, you’ve been warned. We are all pretty quiet people and are into building and sewing furniture for the apartment without an eye for whether it’s fashionable (it probably isn’t). Since it is a new place we are very open for ideas as to how we can make it a nice place. We all speak Danish and English. Theres a possibility for an extension beyond the year. We are probably gonna replace the door to the other big room to sound isolate.
