The household on Munkerisvej is looking for new family members!
We live in a newly-renovated spacious house of 151sqm on Munkerisvej (Odense M) close to both city and uni.
Our dear flatmate, Ana, is moving out and we (Bjørn, Amanda and Aino) are doing some reorganising of the rooms and are looking for TWO new family members to the Munkerisvej gang.
We’re an openminded household who love to use all the space we have in the house. We have a spacious open living room with a big table for dinners with friends, comfy couches and a big tv for cozy movie nights, a nice big closed garden with apple trees, a cherry blossom tree and space for growing vegetables and herbs. A garage for storage and outside partying, 2 bathrooms - one with laundry machine and dryer, a big kitchen with ...dishwasher and in general a newly renovated house. ?
The rooms up for rent are a bedroom upstairs (9 sqm) with a built in closet and a bedroom downstairs (12sqm) with a bay window to the front yard. The rooms are available 1st of April, but earlier move in day is negotiable. The rent for the upstairs room is 3015 dkk/month and for the downstairs room 3415 dkk/month. Let's meet the gang!
Bjørn, 27 y/o from Denmark, is a calm, down to earth guy. He loves nutrition and to exercise, is a vegetable enthusiast, part time kitchen pop-up artist, full time construction worker. He also loves to cook and share a great meal with friends.
Aino, 27 y/o from Finland, is a singing and dancing unofficial knitting queen who’ll be up for beer in the kitchen if you ask. She’s just finishing her master’s degree at SDU. If she’s not in the living room, she’s either with friends or feeding her gaming addiction in her room.
Amanda, 28 y/o from Denmark, is a full of life, vibrant person, who thrives on good company and social energy. She’s the one usually having people over for gatherings/meetings that often results in free food for the rest of us. Her attitude and creative initiatives fills the house with a hyggelig ambience and makes it feel like home.
And last but not least, Ejgil our 3 y/o cat. He’s a rescue who’s been hanging with us for a couple of months now. He can be a bit shy at the beginning but loves belly scratches and sneaking into every room in the house.

We’re looking for the right people more than just someone to pay the rent. Someone who’s interested in sharing the house and all the perks with us but also ready to do the work to make it a home. Preferably you have some experience living on your own or with others. The perfect housemate for us is a sociable person who likes a good occasional houseparty and of course you know how to clean and be respectful of our shared space.
Rent includes water, electricity, and heating. Deposit for both rooms is 9300 and the 2 months pre-paid rent 6200 dkk. We have a common internet connection and shared streaming accounts, that we expect you to chip in to.
