Hello everyone, I am looking for a replacement for my cozy room in Amager Strandvej. The room is 12 m2 with a big window facing east. The apartment is located only 3 min walk from the Amager Strand metro station (between Amager Strand and Øresund stations) and 5 min walk from the beach. Lidl and Kvickly are within a 10 min walking distance. You will share a modern, spacious apartment (126 m2) with three other tenants, who are all in their early twenties and in the process of getting their master degrees at KU: Courtney from Australia, who’s doing Film and Media. Dominik from Germany, who’s doing Political Science. and David from Germany, who’s doing Applied Cultural Analysis. In addition to being full time students they all have part-time jobs, which means that everyone runs on different schedules. However, it is important to your future roommates that on top of sharing a living space you also share similar interests; hang out and party together on occasion :) The room comes unfurnished apart from a big build-in closet. However, if you’re willing to buy some of my old furniture from me for a cheap prize, this could be arranged. There is a small storage unit that can only be accessed through your room, where all the housemates store their suitcases and other rarely used items. I personally did not find this to be an issue :) The apartment has two bathrooms (one with a shower room and a toilet and one small bathroom with a second toilet) Your house key will also grant you access to a spacious rooftop terrace, where you are free to relax on one of the available deck chairs whenever you want and even host barbecues. The monthly rent is 5800 DKK plus around 80 DKK for the internet costs. The amount of the deposit is 15 000 DKK, which already includes your last month’s rent (You won’t have to pay your last rent before moving out). The moving-in costs are 20 800 DKK, which includes the November rent. The acquisition date is 01 November 2019. The initial rental period is 6 months with a possibility of extension if everything works out well.
